The Sister

My name is Sister Clifton and I love serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the California Anaheim Mission! Wanting to go on a mission was something that had a strong desire to do for a few years. Soon before the October 2012 General Conference I started to doubt my decision. After the announcement was made from girls going at 21 to 19 things did not suddenly become clear but more cloudy. After 9 months of prayer, scripture reading, doubt, confusion, happy moments, and a variety of other things I finally found my answer (for more of the story click here or for a more detailed version click here).

I am a 22 year old and have recently finished up my sophomore year of college at Utah State University. I am studying special education and I absolutely love it! Even though I have loved gaining an education I know that it needs to be put on hold for awhile so I can serve my Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I love this gospel with all of my heart. It has brought me happiness on a daily basis and I want others to know and feel the same joy that I do.
